Given:-

•Mass of a car(m)=500kg

Initial velocity(u)=0 (as it started from rest)

•Distance travelled by the car=4cm

=>1cm=0.01m

=>4cm=0.01×4

=>0.04m

•Time taken(t)=2 seconds

To find:-

•Acceleration produced in the car

•Force applied on the car

Solution:-

By using the 2nd equation of motion,we get:-

=>s=ut+1/2at²

=>0.04=0×2+1/2×a×(2)²

=>0.04=2a

=>a=0.04/2

=>a=0.02m/s²

Now,by using Newton's 2nd law of motion,we get:-

=>F=ma

=>F=500×0.02

=>F=10N

Thus:-

•Acceleration produced in the car is 0.02m/s².

•Force applied on the car is 10N.
