- A car requires 37 litres of petrol for covering a distance of 555 km. How much petrol will be required
by the car to cover a distance of 2300 km?​

Total no. Of petrol required by a car to cover the distance of 555 km = 37 litre

Now,

Total no. Of petrol required by a car to cover the distance of 1 km =

555 km/ 37 litre

= 15 litre per km or 1 km

Then, petrol will be required

by the car to cover a distance of 2300 km

= 2300 km x 15 l / km

= 34,500 litre .

Hence, petrol will be required

by the car to cover a distance of 2300 km = 34,500 litre ans.
