Given

  • Car speed = 45km/hr
  • Time (t) = 6 hours
  • Next condition time = 5 hours

Explanation:

Let the Distance be x and we can find total distance using speed & distance Formula as:

 \maltese {\large{\pmb{\boxed{\underline{\sf{ Distance _{(D)} = Speed \times Time }}}}}} \\ \\ \\ \colon\implies{\sf{ Distance _{(D)} = 45 \times 6 }} \\ \\ \\ \colon\implies{\sf{ Distance _{(D)} = 270 \ km }} \\

Therefore, The Total distance is 270 Kilometres.

Now, We can find the New speed that covers distance in 5 hours :-

  • Total Distance = 270 km
  • Time = 5 hours
  • Speed = ?

 \maltese {\large{\pmb{\boxed{\underline{\sf{ Speed = \dfrac{Distance}{Time} }}}}}} \\ \\ \\ \colon\implies{\sf{ Speed = \cancel{ \dfrac{270}{5} } }} \\ \\ \\ \colon\implies{\sf{ Speed = 54 \ km/hr }} \\

Hence,

  • The New speed of the car is 54 km/hr.
