Given,

A car takes 1 litre petrol to runs 16 km.

The distance will it cover using $\sf 2 \dfrac{3}{4}$ litres of petrol = ?

We know that,

$\sf 2 \dfrac{3}{4}$ can also be written as $\sf \dfrac{11}{4}$ or 2.75 litres.

So, considering that car runs 16 km in 1 litre.

How much it will runs in 2.75 litres = ?

$\dashrightarrow \sf 1 \ litre \ = \ 16 km$

$\dashrightarrow \sf 2.75 \ litres = \ ? \ km$
