Given:-

Distance covered by car in 1*1/2 hours=60km.

Find:-

How much distance will it cover in 5 hours?

How much time will it take to cover 75 km?

Solution.

Distance covered by car in 1*1/2 hours or 90 minutes=60km /60000 m.

Distance covered by car in 1 minutes

=60000/90=667m.

Distance covered by car in 5 hours or 300 minutes=300×667=200100 m.

Question :-

A car runs 60km in 1.5 hrs. How much time will it take to cover 75km.

Find :-

Time will it taken by the car to cover 75km.

Solution :-

we know 1 hour = 60 minutes

1.5 hours = 90 minutes

we know 1 km = 1000 m

60 km = 60000 m

a car cover 60000 m in 90 minutes.

{ \bf{So, \:  a  \: car  \: cover \:  1 m =   \frac{90}{60000} }}

75 km = 75000m

{ \bf{So, \:  a  \: car  \: cover \: 75000m}}\\{\bf{= \frac{90}{60000}  \times 75000}}

 = 112.5 \: { \bf{hours \: or}} \: 113 \: { \bf{minutes}}

 { \bf{= 1 \: hours \: 53 \: minutes}}

hope it helps you
