Given:

Radius of circular path R= 100 m

To find: Average velocity and Average speed

Average velocity = Displacement/time

Average Speed = Distance travelled/time

If car makes a round on a circular track, it returns to point where it started. so displacement becomes zero.

so Average Velocity is 0

Distance travelled is the circumference of circular track

Average Speed = (2πR)/t = 2× 3.14×100/62.8= ..........m/s

Answer:

C) 0,10m/s

Solution :

Average velocity is defined as the ratio of displacement to time taken while the average speed of a particle in a given interval of time of defined as the ratio of distance travelled to the time taken.

On a circular path in completing one turn, the distnce travelled is 2πr while displacement is zero.

Hence, average velocity =displacement/time interval

=0/t

=0m/s

Average speed =Distance/time interval

=2πr/t

=2×3.14×10062.8

=10m/s
