heyy user ur answer........

After each circular lap,the car reaches its initial position,therefore displacement is 0.This implies average velocity=total displacement/total time= 0. Average speed =total distance/total time =2*3.14*r/62.8 = 10..........

hope this will help u..........@kundan

Given:

  • Radius of circle = 100 m
  • Time taken for each lap = 62.8 sec

To find:

Average velocity & Average speed for each lap ?

Calculation:

Average speed is the total distance divided by the total time taken for each lap.

avg. \: s =  \dfrac{distance}{time}

 \implies avg. \: s =  \dfrac{2\pi r}{t}

 \implies avg. \: s =  \dfrac{6.28 \times 100}{62.8}

 \implies avg. \: s =  10 \: m {s}^{ - 1}

Average speed is 10 m/s.

Average velocity is the total displacement divided by the total time taken for each lap.

  • However, for each complete lap, the displacement will be zero because the starting and stopping point of the object is same.

So, average velocity will be zero
