Answer :-

Complete Question :-

A Car Runs at a Constant Speed On a Circular Track radius 100 m taking 62.8s On each Lap . The Average Speed and the Average Velocity For Each circular Lap respectively is ?! ( π = 3.14)

Given :-

Radius = 100m

Time = 62.8s

To Find :-

Average Velocity and Average Speed = ?!

Solution :-

  • Radius Of Lap = 100m

Circumference Of the Lap = 2πr

= 2π100 = 200π = 628

  • Time Taken To Cover a Lap = 62.8s

Hence, Average Speed = Distance / Time Taken

= 628 / 62.8

= 10 ms−1

Average Velocity = 0 ( As the Initial and Final Position are Same ) After completing the Lap , Displacement is equal to 0 .

Average Velocity = 0 , Average Speed = 10 ms-1
