A car slow down from a speed of 50km/h to a speed of 10km/h in 10 s. what it's acceleration

Acceleration = (final speed - initial speed)/time

Now 50km/h = 13.89m/s

and 10km/h = 2.78 m/s

This means

Acc. = (2.78 - 13.89)/10 = -1.111 m/s^2
