Answer:

Acceleration = Change in velocity ÷ Time

v final velocity = 20m/s

u initial velocity = 50m/s

= (v - u)/t

= (20m/s - 50m/s)/60s

= (-30m/s)/60s

Acceleration = -0.5m/s²

Or

Retardation = 0.5m/s²

Hope it helps!!

Answer:

u = 50 m/s, v = 20 m/s, t = 60 s

a = (v - u)/t

  = (20 - 50)/60

  = (- 30)/60

  = - 1/2 m/s²     (retardation)

Hope this helps you.
