First of all convert 40 and 60 km/ h to m/ s
Then find the acceleration by v- u/ t

a=v-u/t
Initial velocity=40km/hr=40×5/18=11.1m/s
Final velocity=60km/hr=60×5/18=16.6m/s
a=v-u/t
a=16.6-11.1/5
a=1.1/5
a=11/10/5
a=11×5/10
a=5.5m/s^-2
