= 5*8 m/s
= 40m/s
case-1 (initial zero speed till acceleration ends)
s =ut + 1/2 at^2
=0*8 +1/2 *5*(8)^2
=160 m
case-2 (till acceleration ends to given time)
t=12-8
=4
s =ut +1/2 at^2
=40*4 + 1/2 0*4^2
=80.5
total distance covered= 160m +80.5 m
=240.5 m
