Sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :-

Given ,

  • Car is starting from rest
  • Final velocity = 5 m/s
  • Time taken = 5s
  • Mass of car & passenger = 1800 kg

To find ,

  • Force = ?

To find , force acting on the body firstly we should find the acceleration using the first equation of motion .

v = u + at

Where,

  • v → final velocity = 5m/s
  • u → initial velocity = 0 m/s
  • t → time taken = 5 s
  • a → acceleration = ?

Substituting the values we have ,

➺ 5 = 0 + a(5)

➺ 5 = 5a

➺ a = 5 ÷ 5

Acceleration = 1 m/

Now , finding force using Newton's second law of motion.

F = m × a

Where

  • F → force = ?
  • m → mass = 1800 kg
  • a → acceleration = 1 m/s²

Subsituting the values we have

➻ F = 1800 × 1

Force = 1800 N

Hence , force acted of the body = 1800 N
