Initial velocity = zero

Acceleration of car = 1m/s²

We have to find final velocity of car after 10s.

★ Acceleration is defined As the rate of change of velocity.

Mathematically, a = (v - u) / t

  • v denotes final velocity
  • u denotes initial velocity
  • a denotes acceleration
  • t denotes time

It is a vector quantity having both magnitude as well as direction.

It can be positive, negative or zero.

SI unit : m/s²

By substituting the values, we get

➝ a = (v - u) / t

➝ 1 = (v - o) ) 10

v = 10 m/s

Velocity of car after 10 s will be 10 m/s.
