\looparrowright Question :

\mapsto 1st car started from a place with 40km/h of speed.

\mapsto After 1 hour, another car started from same place from the speed of 50km/h

\looparrowright To Find :

  • Time when the 2nd car will meet the 1st car.

\mapsto the speed of 2nd car is more than the speed of first car .

\looparrowright Given :

  • Speed of 1st car = 40km/h

  • Speed of 2nd car = 50km/h

\looparrowright Solution :

  • We know,

 \large \dashrightarrow \boxed{ \boxed{ \rm \:time =  \frac{distance}{speed}  }}

☆ Here,

  • Time is to find

  • Speed is of 2nd car

  • Distance is 40km

☆ On calculating :

 \implies \rm \: time =  \dfrac{40}{50}

  • 0 in numerator will cancel with 0 in denominator

 \implies \rm \: time =  \dfrac{4}{5}  \: hr

 \large \therefore  \boxed{\rm \: time = 0.8 \: hrs \:}

Or,

\mapsto 0.8 × 60 (as to convert 0.8 hrs into minutes )

\longrightarrow 1 hour = 60 minutes

 \large \therefore  \boxed{\rm \: time = 0.8 \: hrs \: \: or \: 48 \: min}
