I'm not sure but I think it is 4m/s

Explanation:

As it was on rest so

initial velocity will be 0 so, u=0

velocity becomes 40m/s so, v=40

time is 10secs , t=10secs

formula is,

v= u+at

now by putting the concern values,

40= 0+a×10

40= 0+10a

now,

a= 40/10

a=4m/s

Answer:

________________________________________

Given

  • initial velocity (u) = 0

  • final velocity (v) = 40m\s

  • Time (t) = 10 sec

To find

  • acceleration = ?

Solution

\implies a = \dfrac{v - u}{t}

\implies a = \dfrac{40 - 0}{10}

\implies a = \dfrac{40}{10}

\implies a = 4 m\s²

Hence the acceleration is 4 m\s²
