Answer:

u = 2m/s

v = 8 m/s

t = 4s

a = (v-u) /t

= (8-2) /4 m/s^2

=6/4m/s^2

= 1.5 m/s^2

Given:

  • Initial Velocity = 2 m/s
  • Final velocity = 8 m/s
  • Time = 4s

To Find:

  • Acceleration = ?

Solution:

  • u = 2 m/s
  • v = 8 m/s
  • t = 4s

As we know

 \:  \: {\large{\boxed{\sf{a =  \frac{v - u}{t}}}}}

Now substitute the values

 :  \implies   \sf\: a =  \frac{8 - 2}{4}  \\  \\  \\   :  \implies  \sf \: a =  \cancel \frac{6}{4}  \\  \\  \\  :  \implies \sf \: a =  \frac{3}{2}  \\  \\  \\   :  \implies \sf \:  a = 1.5 \frac{m}{ {s}^{2} }

\thereforeHence,acceleration of a car is 1.5 m/s^2.
