Answer:

Initial velocity = 3m/s

Final velocity = 7m/s

Time = 2s

Force =7N

acceleration =v-u/t

=7-3/2

=2m/s^2

Mass = Force by acceleration

Mass= 7/2 kg

Answer:

3.5 kg is the required mass of the car .

Explanation:

Given:-

  • Initial velocity ,u = 3m/s
  • Final velocity ,v = 7m/s
  • Time taken ,t = 2s
  • Force ,F = 7N

To Find:-

  • Mass of the car ,m

Solution:-

According to the Question

we have to calculate the mass of the car .

Firstly we calculate the acceleration of the car .

As we know that acceleration is defined as the rate of change in velocity.

  • a = v-u/t

where,

v is the final velocity

a is the acceleration

u is the initial velocity

t is the time taken

Substitute the value we get

➻ a = 7-3/2

➻ a = 4/2

➻ a = 2m/s²

So, the acceleration of the car is 2m/s²

Now, calculating the mass of the car .

As we know that force is defined as the product of mass and acceleration.

  • F = ma

Putting all the values we get

➻ 7 = m × 2

➻ 7/2 = m

➻ 3.5 = m

➻ m = 3.5 kg

  • Hence, the mas of the car is 3.5 kg.
