A car starting from rest acquires a velocity of 15m/s in 5 seconds. Calculate: (i) Its acceleration and (ii) the distance moved by it. ​

u= 0,    v= 15m/sec, t= 5sec

accleration=v-u÷t

          15-0÷5=3m/s²

accleration =3m/sec²

distance

s=ut+1/2at²

u=0, v=15m/sec, a=3m/s², t=5sec

s=(0)(5)+1/2(3)(5)²

 =0+1/2(3)(25)

 =1/2(75)

 =37.5

accleration =3m/s²  distance travelled=37.5m
