a car starting from rest gains a speed of 60 km/h . it covers a distance of 60 m , its mass is 432 kg . assuming that the opposing force due to air resistance and friction is 200 n . calculate the total force exerted bt the engine of car.

given :
initial velocity (u) = 0
final velocity (v) = 60km/hr
distance (s) =60 m
so find acc. "a" by newtons 1st law of motion : v-u =at
thn multiply "a" by "m" and you will get force..
tht is the force by the car and since resistance force is 20N so substract the net force u calculated by 20N and u will get ur ans.
