Hey
u (initial velocity) = 0m/s
s = 100m
t= 8 sec
s = ut + 1*a*t²/2
=> 100= 0 + a×8²/2
100=a*32
a = 100/32
a = 3.125 m/s² answer
Hope it helps

Answer:

Given,

u=0m/s

s=100m

t=8s

We have,

s = ut +  \frac{1}{2}a {t}^{2}

Substituting the values..

100 = 0 \times 8 \:  +  \frac{1}{2} \times a \times  {8}^{2}

32a = 100

a = 100/32

==> a = 3.125m/s^2
