Given that, a car starts from city A and travels 50 km in a straight line from city A to city B.

Later on, it turns around and returns to city A.

The car took 2 hours for this round trip.

We have to find the took 2 hours for this round trip.

Now,

Average velocity = (Total Displacement)/(Time taken)

Since the car starts from city A and went to city B and then returns back to city A.

Here, the starting and ending points are the same. So, the total displacement done by car is 0 km.

And given time is 2 hours.

Therefore,

Average velocity = 0/2 = 0 km/hr

Option a) 0 km/hr
