A car starts from rest accelerates uniformly to a speed of 80m/s over a time of 5.1s. Determine the distance travelled by the car.

Speed = distance/time
Given
Speed=80 m/s
Time =5.1s
distance=speed×time
=80×5.1
=408m

As car starts from rest,..
U=0
SPEED=80
⌚(TIME)=5.1S
As we already know, that the speed=distance÷time
80=distance÷5.1
Distance=80*5.1=408
Therefor the distance travelled by the car is 408
