u (initial velocity)= 0. (as car starts from rest)
v (final velocity)= 54km/hr = 15m/sec
time = 2 mins = 120 sec

(1) acceleration = v-u/t
=> 15 - 0/120
=> 15/120
=> 0.125 m/s²

(2) using third equation of motion
=>2as = v²-u²
=>2(0.125×s) = (15)² - (0)²
=>0.25×s=225
=>s = 225/0.25= 900m
=> s= 900m

AnandKamilla: you are wtong

i) acceleration=change in time/velocity
velocity=54km/hr=15m/sec
54 \times 5 \div 18 = 15
change in time=2-0=2min=120sec
: acceleration=120/15=8m/sec²
ii)speed=15m/sec
time=120sec
distance=speed×distance=120×15=1800m

AnandKamilla: Hope it helps you
Aanvigahoi: acceleration is v-u/t
