Answer:

u= 0, a= 2m/s², t = 8sec

let t = n

distance travelled in nth second = un + 1/2 a n²

distance travelled in 5th sec = u(n-5) + 1/2 x 2 x (n-5)²

=> 0 + 1 x (8-5)²

=> 1 x 9= 9m

answer is 9m
