As the car is starting from rest ,

Initial velocity = u = 0 m/s

Final velocity = v = 54 km/hr

convert km/hr to m/s :

=> Final velocity = v = 54 km/hr = 54 x 5/18

= 15 m/s

=> Time = t = 2 sec

From Equation of motion :

  • v = u + at

=> 15 = 0 + 2a

=> a = 15/2 = 7.5 m/s²

          mass = 1000 kg

           force = ?

we know,

  •      F = ma

=>  F = 1000 * 75/10

=> F = 7500 N .
