Initially, velocity = 0 m/s (rest)

Finally, velocity = 20 m/s

Time = 5 s

We know,

S = ½ at² (from 2nd equation of motion)

⇒ S = ½(v - u)/t × t × t

⇒ S = ½ (v - u)t

⇒ S = ½ vt

⇒ S = ½ (20 m/s)(5 s)

⇒ S = 10 × 5 m

⇒ S = 50 m.

∴ The particle travelled 50 m.

Answer:we have to put first equation of motion to find acceleration. a=vf-vi/t

a=20-0/5

a=4m/sec

Then 2nd equation for finding distance.

S=Vit+1/2at

We wil get 50distance
