Given :
- Initial velocity, u = 0 m/s
- Time, t = 1 second
- Distance, s = 100 m
To find :
- Acceleration, a
According to the question,
By using Newtons second equation of motion,
➞ s = ut + ½ at²
Where,
- s = Distance
- a = Acceleration
- u = Initial velocity
- t = Time
➞ Substituting the values,
➞ 100 = 0 × 1 + ½ × a × 1 × 1
➞ 100 = 0 + ½ a
➞ 100 - 0 = ½ a
➞ 100 = ½ a
➞ 200 = a
So,the acceleration is 200 m/s².
