GIVEN

  • Initial velocity of the car,u = 0
  • final velocity of the car ,v = 54 kmph
  • time,t = 15s

TO FIND

  • Acceleration of the car

FORMULA USED

  • v = u + at

As the distance and time are in metre and second we should convert final velocity into m/s

  • We know that 1 kmph = 5/18 m/s

So, 54 kmph = 54 × 5/18 m/s

54 kmph = 3 × 5 m/s

54 kmph = 15 m/s

Now ,consider the equation of motion,

v = u + at

Substituting the values,

15 = 0 + a(15)

15 = 15a

a = 15/15

a = 1 m/s^2

There fore,the acceleration of the car is 1 m/s^2

HOPE IT HELPS YOU..
