A car starts from rest and moves along the axis with constant acceleration of 5 metre per second for 8 seconds if it then continues with constant velocity what distance will the car cover in 12 seconds since it started from the rest​

since the car travels initially with constant acceleration we must use s=it+1/2at2.For next 4sec as car travels with constant velocity acceleration will be zero in the same formula.

Hence for the first 8sec the car travels 160mand the next 4sec the car covers 160m.Finally total distance traveled by car for 12sec from rest is 320m
