A car starts from rest and moves with a uniform velocity of 24m/s in

6 seconds. Find:

i) The acceleration of the car. 1

ii) The distance covered by the car​

As we know,

Acceleration is the change in velocity with respect to time.

1) Acceleration= \frac{Final velocity-Initial velocity}{time}

  As the car starts from rest, It's initial velocity was 0 m/s

                          =\frac{24-0}{6}

                          =\frac{24}{6}

                          =4 m/s^{2}
