A car starts from rest and rolls down a hill with a constant acceleration. It travels a distance of
400 m in 20 seconds. Find acceleration and force if its mass is 7000 Kg.

Given,

u=0

s=400m

t=20s

Now by second equation of motion,

s=ut+1/2at^2

400=1/2(a)(20)^2

400=1/2(a)(400)

400=200(a)

400/200=a

a=2m/s^2

Now given,

m=7000 kg

F=m×a

F=7000×2 N

F=14000 N.
