A car starts from rest and rolls down the hill with a constant acceleration. It travels a distance of 400m in 20seconds. Find the acceleration. Find the force acting on it if its mass is 1500kg.

We know, s = ut + ½ at2

Or, 400 = 0 + ½ a (20)2

Or, F = ma = 1500 — 2 = 3000 N Ans.
