Using 2nd Equation of motion
S=ut +1/2 at^2
u=0( as car has started from rest) a=1.5m/s^2 t=1.5s
S=1/2*1.5*(1.5)^2
S=1/2* 3.375
S=1.68m

Explanation:

 During \: rest , u = 0

 a = 1.5 m/sec²

 t = 1.5 seconds

S = ut + \frac{1}{2}at²

S = 0*1.5 + \frac{1}{2} × 1.5 × (1.5)²

S = 0 + \frac{1}{2} × (1.5)³

S = \frac{(1.5)³}{2}

S =\frac{3.375}{2}

S = \frac{3375}{2000}

S =\frac{1687.5}{1000}

S = 1.6875 \: meter

S = 1.7 \: meter(लगभग)
