Im sure there is some useful equation on this one…but we’re not talking about acceleration here….we’re only talking about the speed at the beginning and the speed at the end…so the average speed is 12.5 m/s

12.5 x 20 seconds = 250 meters

But realistically speaking the car could have done nothing for the first 19 seconds…and then they floored it and the turbo kicked in….

19 seconds a 1 meter per second then 1 second with average velocity 25 m/s for a total of 44 meters in that 20 seconds.

you mentioned nothing about constant velocity or constant acceleration.

Let’s to the math another way

the car got to 24 m/s in the first second. So that means that the car moved 12 meters average in the first second.

then 24 x 19 =456 meters

So after 20 seconds the car could have moved 468 meters…
