Answer:

S=1000CM

Explanation:

By Applying NEWTONS 2ND KINEMATICAL Equation

s=ut+1/2at^2

s=0+1000   .....(initial velocity is zero)

s=1000cm

A N S W E R :

  • Distance covered by car in 10 seconds is 100 m.

G I V E N :

  • Initial Velocity (u) = 0 m/s
  • Final Velocity (v) = 20 m/s
  • Time Interval (t) = 10 seconds

T O F I N D :

  • Distance covered by car in 10 seconds = ?

S O L U T I O N :

First of all we have to calculate acceleration of car by using first equation of motion :

→ v = u + at

→ 20 = 0 + a(10)

→ 20 - 0 = 10a

→ 20 = 10a

→ a = 20 ÷ 10

→ a = 2 ÷ 1

a = 2 m/s²

Hence, acceleration of car is 2 m/.

let's calculate the distance covered by the car in 10 seconds by using second equation of motion :

➝ s = ut + ½ at²

➝ s = 0 × 10 + ½ × 2 × 10 × 10

➝ s = ½ × 200

s = 100 m

Therefore, distance covered by car in 10 seconds is 100 m.
