The car moves due to the frictional force provided due to the motion of tyres in opposite direction.

The frictional force = μmg

Taking g = 10

Therefore acceleration provided due to friction is :

= 0.5 × 10 = 5

Using second law of motion:

S =ut + 0.5gt²

500 = 0.5 × 5 × t²

500 = 2.5t²

t² = 200

t= √200 = 14.14 seconds.
