A car starts moving along a line , first with an acceleration a = 5 m/s² starting from rest , then uniformly and finally decelerating at the same rate comes to rest in total time of 25 seconds (t ¹) ,then average velocity during the time is equal to v= 72 kmph . how long does the particle move uniformly?

Note-solve it without using graph....

I have divided the timeline into 3 parts ...

1). when the object was moving with acc. a

2). when it lost its acceleration

3).when it began to deceleration.

the body moves with velocity v1 in the first stage ..

then velocity V2 in the second stage

and finally comes to rest in last stage.

the further answer is in the given attachment
