GIVEN

A car starts moving from rest and accelerates at a rate of 1.5 m/s².

  • Initial velocity(u) = 0 m/s
  • Acceleration(a) = 1.5 m/s²
  • Time(t) = 8 secs

TO FIND

The velocity(v) at the end of the 8th second.

SOLUTION

Using the formula :-

\boxed{\color{gold} {\sf{v=u+at}}}

Substituting the values :-

\sf{\longrightarrow v=0+(1.5)8}\\\\\sf{\longrightarrow v=(1.5)8} \\\\\large\underline{\boxed{\boxed{\color{blue} {\sf{\longrightarrow v=12\ m/s}}}}}

Therefore, the velocity of the car after the end of the 8 th second is 12 m/s.

A car starts moving from rest and accelerates at a rate of 1.5m/s.Find its velocity at the end of 8th second???

_______________________________

✰Given:-

⋄ Initial velocity of car (u)= 0m/s

⋄ Acceleration of car (a) = 1.5m/s²

⋄ Time taken (t) = 8s

_______________________________

✰To Find:-

⋄ Final velocity of Car (v).

_______________________________

⋄Solution :-

By using First equation of motion

➧ v=u+at

➧ v=0+1.5×8

➧ v= 12m/s

∴ The final velocity of car is 12m/s.
