Question :- ⬇️

A car takes 10 minutes to cover 20 km. Calculate its speed in km/h and m/s.

Given :- ⬇️

There is one car which can cover 20 kilometres In 10 Minutes.

Find :- ⬇️

It's Speed in km/h and m/s.

We  \: know \:  that \:  Speed  \: = \:  \frac{D}{T}

D = Distance

T = Time

Therefore, in the question, inputs given are —

Distance = 20 km ; Time = 1 minute

Therefore, speed = 20 km ÷ 20 min =

Speed = 1 km/min.

Now, if an object covers 1 km in 1 minute, it can cover 60 km in 60 minutes. And, 60 minutes = 1 hour . It means that it is travelling at speed of 60 km/h.

Therefore, 1 km/min = 60 km/h.

Hence, the car is travelling at a speed of 1 km/min or 60 km/h.
