Answer:

1 hour

Step-by-step explanation:

Time taken=2 hours

Distance travelled=120 km

Speed=Distance travelled/Time taken

          = 120/2=60 kmphr

If speed is doubled,

Final Speed=2*Intial Speed

                   = 2*60

                   = 120kmphr

Time taken=Distance travelled/Speed

                  = 120/120

                  = 1 hour

Answer:

Car will take 1h

Explanation:

Given :

  • In 2h car complete 120km

To Find :

  • How much time car will take if the speed is doubled

Solution :

Distance => 120km

Time => 2 hours

We know that

\bigstar\boxed{\sf{Speed =\dfrac{Distance}{Time}}}

\implies \dfrac{120}{2}

\implies  60\sf{km/h}

If the speed is doubled = 60 × 2

=>120km/h

\boxed{\sf{Time = Distance \div Speed}}

= 120 \div 120

= 1\sf{hour}

∴ The car will take 1h if the speed is doubled
