A car takes 3 hr to reach from Pune to Kolhapur and then 6 hr to return journey from Kolhapur to Pune. The
distance between these cities is 270 km. calculate the average speed.

67.5 km/hr

Explanation:

from Pune to kholapur speed is 270/3=90km/hr

now return journey speed is 270/6=45km/hr

therefore average speed is 90+45/2=67.5
