S= dist/time
60 km/h = d/5
dist= 300 km
s= dist/time
40= 300/time
time= 300/40
time = 15/2 hr. = 7 ½ hrs
60 km/h = d/5
dist= 300 km
s= dist/time
40= 300/time
time= 300/40
time = 15/2 hr. = 7 ½ hrs

If car continueously moves at speed 60km/h for 5 hours. So by applying (d=s*t) we can get distance
So d=300km
By applying same formula,
300=40*t
300/40=t
7.5hr.=t
So in 7 hour 30 min a car can cover the given distance in a speed 40 km/hr
So d=300km
By applying same formula,
300=40*t
300/40=t
7.5hr.=t
So in 7 hour 30 min a car can cover the given distance in a speed 40 km/hr
