t1 = distance/speed. = 100/60 = 1.66 hr
t2. = 100/40= 2.5 hr
average speed = total distance / total time taken
av.speed. = 100+100/1.66+2.5 =48.08 km/hr
t2. = 100/40= 2.5 hr
average speed = total distance / total time taken
av.speed. = 100+100/1.66+2.5 =48.08 km/hr

hi friends
a car travel = 100km
speed = 60km/hr
return speed = 40km/hr
total time traveled=100/60+100/40=5/3+5/2=10/6+15/6=25/6
distance traveled=200
average speed=200/(25/6)=48
average speed for the whole journey=48 km/hr
thankyou
