average speed= total distance/ total time
=400/8=50km/h
average velocity=total displacement/time
=0/8

average speed is equal to total ditance divided by total time
so total distance will be 200km + 200km
= 400km
total time = 5 + 3 hrs
= 8 hrs
so average speed = total distance / total time
= 400km/8hrs
= 50 km/hr
now for average velocity
it is equal to total diaplacement divided by total time
total displacement = 0 since it is returned to its original place
so averagr velocity will be equal to zero
so total distance will be 200km + 200km
= 400km
total time = 5 + 3 hrs
= 8 hrs
so average speed = total distance / total time
= 400km/8hrs
= 50 km/hr
now for average velocity
it is equal to total diaplacement divided by total time
total displacement = 0 since it is returned to its original place
so averagr velocity will be equal to zero
