A car travel a to b 100m with 36km/h then b to c 50m with 72km/h in the same direction What will be the average speed and average velocity

Given here,

x1 = 100 m

v1=36km/hr = 10m/s

time, t1 = distance/ velocity

= 100m /10 m/s

= 10

X2 = 50m

v2 = 72km/hr = 20m/s

t2 = 50m/20m/s = 2.5 s

average speed = total distance / time

= (100+50)/(10+2.5)

= 150/12.5

= 12m/s

average speed and average velocity both are same because direction is same in intire motion. it doesn't change.

average velocity = 12m/s towards A to C
