Answer:

The distance travelled by car in 24 minutes is 28 km.

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that Speed = Distance/Time Therefore S = D x T

Here the speed is in km/hr and the time is in minutes so first convert 24 minutes into hours which will be 24/60 hours.

Now just substitute the values and you get

70 = D/24/60

70 = D x 60/24   ( Division converts into multiplication and hence 24/60 gets reciprocated to 60/24 )

D = 70 x 24/60

D = 28

The distance travelled by car in 24 minutes is 28 km.

Hope you got your answer and mark me as brainliest if my answer helped you.

sanketnaik20799: By using the formula speed=distance/time
Prizam0170477: if you modify it the formula becomes distance = speed x time
Prizam0170477: time goes on the left side and gets multiplied by speed
Prizam0170477: Hence d = s x t is more convenient formula for this sum
Prizam0170477: but if you still persist i am ready to use the original formula

let the distance be x

speed of the car=70km/hr

convert it into m/s

70*5/18=195/9m per second

time taken by the car to cover the distance =24minutes

convert. minutes into seconds so the answer is 24*60sec= 1440sec

A/Q

if speed =distance/time

so distance =speed *time

=(195/9*1440)m

=(65*480)m

=31200m

so the distance covered by the car x=31200m ans

if convert into km then

(31200/1000)km

=31.2km ans

Hope it helps you...

Prizam0170477: you have unnecessay complicated by converting into seconds and it seems that your answer is wrong. Refer my answer to find out your mistake
archi1282: but If we convert than this is only the answer
archi1282: and if not then my answer is coming as same as yours I don't know why the answer is different after conversion
