Solution :-

Basic Method :-

→ 4(1/2) hour = (4 * 2 + 1)/2 = (9/2) hours .

So,

→ In (9/2) hours car travelled = 225 km

then,

→ In 1 hour car travelled = 225/(9/2) = 225 × (2/9) = 25 × 2 = 50 km (Ans.)

Formula :-

→ Total distance covered = 225 km

→ Total Time taken = 4(1/2) hour = (9/2) hours .

So,

→ Uniform Speed = Total distance covered / Total Time taken = 225/(9/2) = 225 × (2/9) = 25 × 2 = 50 km/hour .

therefore, the distance travelled by car in 1 hour is equal to 50 km .
