A car traveling 96 km/h is 270 m behind a truck traveling 79 km/h .

How long will it take the car to reach the truck

Vc= speed of car

Vc= 96×(5÷18) m/ s

=480/18 m/s

Vt= speed of truck

Vt= 79×(5÷18) m/s

=395/18 m/s

Vr= relative velocity of car wrt truck

= 480/18 - 395/18

= 85/18

=270÷(85/18) second
