Explanation:

Given that :-

Intial velocity V1 = 45 km/hr = 12.5 m/s

Final velocity V2 = 0 m/s

Time t = 30sec.

We know that Acceleration is :-

Change in the velocity ∆V (V2 - V1)

=> A = -------------------------------------------------

Change in Time ∆T ( T2 - T1)

Acceleration = (0 - 45) / 30

Acceleration = -1.5 m/sec^2 ✅

( -ive sign comes because there is retardation in this question ❓)
